leary's fresh fish was 2 blocks ahead. andie had a childish idea run through her head.
"hey, wanna race?" she said smiling. "i know, i know, childish thought and all," andie said in a patronizing tone, "but it IS the last days of summer and we are nearing college soon so we'll probably never ever ever get to do this ever again... ever." she added perking up. "AND, loser can buy jack's lunch and maybe something sweet for jen." she teased.

"Yeah your right Jack! I should get out there," glancing out the window, noticing the beautiful day out.
"At least to find Andie and apologise to her about hanging up. Hell, what was I thinking?" she sighed, rolling her eyes.
She looked back at Jack, who was still looking in the fridge. "Help yourself there Jack. Hope you find something to eat in there?" she smiled.
Standing up she walked to the cupboard. Opening the cupboard door, retrieved a plate from the shelf and placed it on the bench for him.
"I think there might be some leftover chicken in there" as Jen walked over to the draw with the cutlery.

Joey headed towards the direction of Jen's house while holding Pacey's hand. "I hope that Jen is home. It is a very nice day out and all." Joey said.

A smile crossed Dawson's lips, "Yeah." He said looking at their destination then at Andie.
"1, 2, 3, Go" And Dawson started off, glancing to see if Andie was right with him.

"Ooo Yum!" Jack said pulling out the left over chicken, "Want some too?" He sets the container on the counter then leans back into the fridge pulling out some bread and condements. "Perfect sandwich makings." He smiled, "And don't worry about Andie, I'm sure she's fine. Probably got a good laugh off the destraction in your voice. She probably just thinks she woke you up." Jack laughed, knowing that it was exactly the kind of thing Jen would do when you wake her up, especially when she sleeps in.

Joey smiled and waiting for someone to answer the door at Jen's. She noticed that Pacey looked over at the Leery house. Joey herself couldn't help but look. She knew that sooner or later she would have to face Dawson. She shook her head and snapped out of the transe. Joey looked back at Pacey and smiled.

andie let out a small giggle when dawson agreed to the race. as he counted down she held her breathe. once she heard 'go', she watched as dawson ran past her, her eyes wide open. no way was she gonna lose!! she bolted after the tall blonde, laughing the whole way to leary's fresh fish.

"Yeah, well I was..." Jen was saying till she was distracted by the knock on the door.
"Hmmm wonder who that is?" she muttered with a blank look on her face. Placing the cutlery on the bench she went to answer the door.

Dawson saw Andie closing on him, he grinned, "I'm winning he said," just to egg her on. Then laughed as she reached the resturant one step ahead. "Ok, I'm buying then, what's your desire?" He asked as they headed into the resturant.

As Jen neared the door she heard a familiar voice call out. Pacey? Was that just Pacey? she thought to herself. Reaching the door, she turned the handle and opened it to be greeted with two familiar faces. A smile spread across her face. Looking from one to the other.
"Hey Joey....Pacey, welcome back," smiled Jen who was pleased to see them.

andie grinned at dawson as they entered the restaurant. "i think i'll have..." andie looked around for the specials menu. "aha! there, that. i'll have that," she said pointing to the sign. it read:
today's lunch special: red snapper w/baked potato, rice, and choice of soup $9.99
"how 'bout you?" she asked dawson.
