Pacey & Joey have arrived home and school starts tomorrow morning. Everyone's having their last of summer fun. Jack, Jen, Andie, & Dawson have been hanging out all summer.
Pacey walked up to Joey's door and knocked. Now that he was out of a bed, he needed some comfort.

Joey opened the door and saw Pacey. They had a great summer together. She told him to come on in. "Hey Pace...what's up?" Joey asked him.

"I came home to find I have no home." Pacey said, somewhat dramatically. "Gretchen's home and so I'm out of a couch at Dougie's. What's up at the Potter house?"

"Wow...Dougie kicked you out. Well you know that you always have a place here. Ummm...there really isn't too much going on here. Bessie and Bodie were happy to see me though." Joey grabbed Pacey's hand and lead him into an extra room to put his stuff down.

Joey walked into the room and sat down next to Pacey. "You know what Pace...you know what I have to do really soon...don't you Pace? I have to try and talk to Dawson. As much fun as we had this past summer, I need to try and smooth things out with him. Okay?" Joey said lovingly.

"Yeah, I kind of expected that. I'd do the same thing, if I thought he'd speak to me." Pacey said, sitting up. "But I have a feeling if I go within 10 feet of him, he'll shoot me on sight." Pacey tried to laugh it off, but the thought of Dawson hating him really was eating at him.

Jack walked up to Jen's house and knocked on the door. He and Dawson had just finished a house painting job and he was bored. "Hey Grams, Jen, you ladies home?" Jack called through the door. Loudly, but not too loudly.

"Okay Pace...I know what you mean. I just can't stand the thought of not having Dawson as my friend. Later on I'll take a walk over and see if he is there. He may not even speak to me. Either that or maybe I'll just wait and see him in school tomorrow. But right now I am going to stay right here with my little sailor man and hang out." Joey said as she smiled at Pacey.

Joey looked at Pacey and smiled. But in her heart she knew that Dawson probably would be mad at her too. She only hoped that he would forgive her...and Pacey at that. Joey wrapped her arms around Pacey and layed on the bed beside him. All she could do now was wait for the new school year to begin.
