Hi everybody. My name is Stacey. I used to be a really big fan of Dawson's Creek back when it first aired. I was in highschool and in the same grade as all of them. i remember being so thrilled that someone finally had written a show about my age group with actors who were my age and talked the way I did and everything. They got it all right. I stopped watching the show somewhere in season two or three when Jack broke up with joey cause he was gay. It was a little scary how close the show was to my life at the time that i just had to stop. Art imatates life or life imatates art?
I was sorta in love with my best friend and he was gay. I now think that it is really funny how much the show related to me. I started watching the show in reruns and of course got more hooked than when i watched it the first time. I am such a Joey/Pacey fan. They make me so happy together.

I actually have a question...

So, Mitch dies in a car accident in season 5 but the Very last show. The season 6 finally everybody comes back to capeside for Dawson's parents wedding. Now i had seen the finally before the Death episode but I could have swore that mitch was there. Will somebody please explain it to me.

welcome to the board. I think what makes DC so special is that everybody can relate to it in their own way. About your question... Mitch dies in the fifth season, so you were mistaken about seeing him in the finale. Maybe it was someone who looked like him? Anyway, have fun, and I hope you post a lot.

Hi Stacey,welcome to the board! I know I too was around the same age when DC was on. I can really relate to the characters too! I can honestly say my life at the time was so similar to Jens. From season 1 to the finale I felt like Jens character was based on me, it was really weird. But that's what made the show so special to me!

Hey Stacey. I would like to welcome you to the boards!! I'm so glad that more newbies are coming in..it's so awesome! and of course..hehe..BIG FAN! We all are and i'm glad you're here. I'm pretty sure that Mitch wasn't in the finale, but, i didn't memorize everything about that episode, so i can't really say. Most likely he wasn't because he left around season 5. :/
