"Did you just hang up on my sister?" Jack chuckled, and leaned forward on the table. "That's ok, I can eat something here I'm sure," He grins as he stands up to have a peek at the fridge. "So, you thinking of hanging around here all day, or getting out in the world?"

Dawson entered the library. Sent by his mom to pick up a book for her, when he spotted Andie.
"Studing already? Class hasn't even started?" Dawson said in a cheerful, teasing tone, walking up in front of where Andie was.

Joey pondered as she looked at the menu. "I guess I'll have a turkey on rye." She replied to Pacey and she went up and told the person their two orders. "Do you think that Andie was upset that we ran into her?" Joey asked Pacey as she waited for their sandwiches to be made.

andie jumped, startled. not 5 minutes had passed by and already the girl was engrossed in her book.
"oh dawson, hey!" she said with a small smile. "you startled me." she blushed shyly when dawson asked her if she had started studying. "huh, oh yeah.. well, you know.. me and books- can't get enough of 'em. what about you? what are you doing here?" she questioned.

"I don't know. She seemed a little startled. And maybe not so happy to see us. I hope she's ok. I guess this is still a little tough on her." Pacey said, handing some cash to the cashier to pay for the sandwiches. They were then handed their food and drink in quick order and Pacey turned, "so, where do you want to sit. I was thinking over there, by the back windows."
It was a quiet little corner of the cafe, with a nice window that looked out onto a little park.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to." Dawson said with a smile. "I'm just picking something up for my mom."
He shows Andie the book on managing a small business in his hand. His mom's place was doing great. But Gale liked to be sure she was making the right moves, so she consulted books, and the internet a lot.
"So, planning on reading in the library the rest of the day?" He asked, leaning against one of the 'stacks'.

"Yeah...over near the window would be great." Joey said to Pacey as they went over and sat down. "I just hope that Andie doesn't hate me." Joey said. "I also hope that Dawson doesn't hate me...but I guess I'll find that out soon enough." she added. "Ya know what Pace...after we get done eating we should go and see if Jen and Jack are around...it'd be great to see them, and I think that they are the only two of our friends that probably don't hate us right about now." Joey said to Pacey as she took a bite into her sandwich.

"Not much. Jack and I finally finished that house, and now, I'm actually not really sure what to do with myself. What about you?" Dawson asked, secretly hopeing it might actually lead to something fun, out of the house and such.

Pacey sits down after pulling out a chair for Joey to sit. "I hope they don't hate us either. Jen and Jack sound like a good idea. Maybe we could check at Jen's. They seemed to hang around there a lot before we left anyway." He says, adjusting his sandwich and taking a big bite.

"actually, i was suppose to bring some lunch over to jack today, but i um.." andie tried to find the right words to say. ".. got sidetracked." she smiled. "are you hungry? i could definitely go for a bite to eat. and maybe i could get jack something also," she thought outloud. "he's over at jen's right now."
